Setting mappings in BeeFinity may be challenging sometimes.
Therefore, here are some tips to do your mappings right.
There are 2 types of mappings in BeeFinity;
- General mapping; this mapping contains fields which appear in every product. For instance ‘Type number’, ‘manufacturer’ and ‘description’.
- Group mappings; these mappings are specific to a group. They contain fields (features) which are specific to a group. These mappings are ‘export only’.
Setting a general mapping
- Navigate to the ‘Management’ menu.
- Here, select the ‘Mappings’ tab.
- By default, the ‘EPLAN’ mapping is selected.
- You can create your own mapping by clicking the ‘+’ sign.
- Click the ‘Pencil’ to edit a mapping.
- Assign the fields the way that fits your purpose.
- Click ‘Save’ to save the mapping.
Setting a group mapping
- Navigate to the ‘Management’ menu.
- Here, select the ‘Groups’ tab.
- Select the group you want to make a mapping for.
- Head over to the tab ‘Mappings’.
- Click the ‘Pencil’ to edit a mapping.
- Assign the fields the way that fits your purpose.
- Click ‘Save’ to save the mapping.
